Da Bulls

Dad and I went to a baseball game the other night. We watched the Durham Bulls play against the Louisville Bats . It was a good game. The Bulls won. And I got to eat lots of treats. Popcorn, peanuts and a snow cone. See.

At the end of the game all the kids got to run around the bases. It was cool!

Really fun madness

When we got to our apartment it was so empty! And a few weeks later I even got a Playmobil set. It was an ocean scene and it came with a dolphin, 8 fish, one starfish and 8 shells. I also got a raft with a dog and a waterslide. I made a crazy scene with it about chasing fish.

Tonight we went to a really cool music festival and farmers market with lots of stuff for kids to do. It was at the Saxapahaw Rivermill. There was a water slide, huge bubbles and a kayak suspended from a rope and when you got in it the kayak went really fast down the hill and would swing from side to side. The rope was attached to two trees and I thought that I was going to crash into the tree at the end!
Here's some video from earlier today:

A forest poem for forest lovers

I first wrote this poem on the Poet's Walk at the Ayr House. There was a graveyard and I thought the footstones were graves for babies! (laughs)

Nature:

Trees swaying above me
Snakes looming in the grass below me
A forest of life all around me
